Sonakshi Sinha (born 2 June 1987) is an Indian actress and model. She is the daughter of Bihari actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha.

Career
Sonakshi Sinha started her career as a model and walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion week 2008[3] and then again in Lakme Fashion week 2009.[3] She made her acting debut with the film Dabangg co-starring Salman Khan. Dabangg went on to become one of the highest grossing Bollywood films

Personal life
Sinha is the daughter of actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and Punam Sinha. She has two brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha.
